Games to Play at School
The constraints of a school laptop are real: a slow Chromebook, a locked-down browser, and maybe five minutes between classes. That rules out anything that needs an install or a long load. Everything on this page is lightweight HTML5, starts in a couple of seconds, and gives you a complete run in the time you actually have. Several are two-player on one keyboard, which makes them good for a shared desk.

Games to Play at School FAQ
Why do some of these not load on a school network?
The page itself is served from our domain, but the game runs from a separate host that some school filters block by category. If a game page opens and the player stays blank after pressing Play, that host is being filtered rather than the game being broken.
Which of these run best on an old Chromebook?
The 2D puzzle and matching games, followed by the simple runners. Anything 3D will run but may drop frames on a low-end machine, which matters more in reaction games than in puzzles where a stutter costs you nothing.
Can I keep my progress between classes?
Usually yes - most games save to browser storage on the device you played on. That means progress does not follow you to a different Chromebook, and it is lost if the machine wipes profiles between sessions.
