About Flamit

Flamit casts you as a living flame with a countdown built into your own body: the longer a level takes, the smaller you burn. Thirty icy stages ask you to reach unlit torches before that inner light gutters out, and every torch you set alight buys back breathing room. Snowdrifts, slick ice and frost-covered enemies sit between you and the next flame, so route choice matters more than raw speed. Two separate modes change how harsh the squeeze feels, and the chunky pixel art keeps hazards readable even when a stage fills up with them.

Flamit FAQ

Can the timer in Flamit be paused by standing still?

No. Your flame shrinks from the instant a stage begins, whether you move or not, so stopping to study the layout costs you the same fuel that running does. Reaching the next torch is the only thing that resets the pressure.

How do you play Flamit?

Steer the flame with the keyboard and jump to clear gaps, ledges and patches of ice. Reach each unlit torch and set it burning — lighting torches is the only way to top your dwindling flame back up. Stay away from snow hazards and the icy enemies patrolling the stages; contact costs flame you cannot easily recover. Work through all thirty stages, then switch to the second mode for a tighter run at the same terrain.

Is Flamit free to play?

Yes. Flamit is free to play in your browser on BreakArcade. There is no purchase, no subscription and no account required - open the page and press Play.

Do I need to download Flamit?

No. Flamit is an HTML5 game that runs inside your browser tab. Nothing is installed on your device, and closing the tab ends the session.

Can I play Flamit on a school Chromebook?

Flamit runs on any device with a modern browser, including low-powered school Chromebooks, because it loads in the browser rather than installing. Whether it opens depends on your network - some schools block the game host, which is outside our control.
