Blocky first-person survival against a crowd that arrives faster than you can reload. Ammunition is the real constraint rather than accuracy - the undead are slow enough to hit reliably but numerous enough that spraying leaves you empty at exactly the wrong moment. Backing into a corridor funnels them into one direction, which is usually the difference between a short run and a long one. Controls are standard WASD and mouse, so there is nothing to learn before your first attempt.
