2 Player Games
Every game in this category puts two people on one keyboard, usually one player on WASD and the other on the arrow keys. That single constraint changes what makes a game good: rounds have to end fast enough that the loser gets a rematch, and the mechanics have to be readable from across the same screen. It also means no accounts, no lobbies and no second device, which is exactly why these work on a shared laptop where an online game would not.

2 Player Games FAQ
Do I need a second keyboard or device?
No. Both players use the same keyboard, split between WASD and the arrow keys. That is the whole point of this category - it works in situations where you have one machine and two people.
Can I play these alone?
Some have a single-player mode against AI, but they are built around a second person. The AI is usually easier and the games lose most of what makes them fun, so treat single-player as practice rather than the main event.
