About Urban Siege Line

Urban Siege Line runs on lane management as much as shooting: the Up and Down arrows switch you between lanes, and which lane you're standing in when a wave hits determines what you can actually shoot without repositioning first. Weapon switching between three loadouts with the 1, 2, and 3 keys means matching gun to threat matters as much as aim, and beyond direct fire there are two escalation options held in reserve — air support and a deployable squad — plus a grenade for clearing whatever's already crowded into your lane. Because lane position, weapon choice, and reserve support all compete for attention at once, the difficulty here comes from managing three systems simultaneously rather than from any single mechanic being hard on its own.

Urban Siege Line FAQ

Do I need to be in the same lane as an enemy to shoot it?

Yes — switching lanes with the Up and Down arrows is how you line up a shot, so an enemy approaching in a lane you're not standing in won't take damage from your weapon until you reposition into that lane first. That's what makes lane-switching a combat decision and not just movement.

What is the difference between calling air support and deploying the support squad?

They are two separate reserve options mapped to different keys — A calls in air support and D deploys your support squad — meant to handle a lane getting overwhelmed in ways a grenade or your own weapon switch cannot manage alone. Since both are held in reserve rather than available constantly, deciding when to spend them matters as much as knowing they exist.
