About Put Out The Fire

Digging a channel and letting water find its own way down is the core idea, so you are shaping terrain rather than aiming a hose. Clicking removes earth, and the water follows gravity through whatever path you have opened, which means a badly placed dig can send the whole flow away from the fire and leave you starting over. Thinking a couple of cuts ahead matters more than reacting, because water that has already gone the wrong way cannot be called back. The levels are compact and built around a single insight each.

Put Out The Fire FAQ

Can I redirect water once it has started flowing the wrong way?

Rarely, which is why the digging order matters so much. Water commits to the lowest path available the moment you open one, so the useful thinking all happens before the first cut rather than during the flow.

How do you play Put Out The Fire?

Click to dig away earth and open a channel. Let gravity carry the water rather than trying to direct it. Plan two or three cuts ahead before you start digging. Restart if the flow commits to the wrong side of the level.

Is Put Out The Fire free to play?

Yes. Put Out The Fire is free to play in your browser on BreakArcade. There is no purchase, no subscription and no account required - open the page and press Play.

Do I need to download Put Out The Fire?

Can I play Put Out The Fire on a school Chromebook?
