Keeping the ball inside a ring is the goal, not clearing bricks, which is the twist on an otherwise familiar paddle setup. A dashed circular zone hangs in the middle of the screen with a dark centre, and your paddle sits below it, so every return has to be judged for angle rather than just contact. Hitting the ball back is easy; hitting it back at a trajectory that keeps it in the zone is the actual skill. The cheerful space art hides a game that punishes lazy returns fairly quickly.

There are no bricks to clear. The dashed ring in the middle is what you are playing against, so a return that would count as a success in a breakout game can still lose you the round if it sends the ball out of the zone.
