About BoxBash

Somewhere in the stack is an explosive crate, and everything about how you play follows from that. A masked wrestler punches upward through a tower of wooden boxes as fast as possible, and speed is what scores, but a red TNT box mixed into the column ends the run if you hit it. That creates a genuine tension between hammering the punch key and actually looking at what is coming next in the stack. The art is loud and the loop is short, which is the right shape for something you play in a two-minute gap.

How to Play

BoxBash FAQ

How do I avoid hitting the explosive boxes?

By reading two or three boxes up the stack instead of watching your fists. The punching itself needs no attention, so the whole skill is keeping your eyes higher than the point of contact while your hands keep going.

How do you play BoxBash?

Punch upward repeatedly to break through the stack of boxes. Watch a few boxes ahead rather than the one you are hitting. Stop short of any red explosive crate in the column. Build speed on clear runs of ordinary boxes.

Is BoxBash free to play?

Yes. BoxBash is free to play in your browser on BreakArcade. There is no purchase, no subscription and no account required - open the page and press Play.

Do I need to download BoxBash?

No. BoxBash is an HTML5 game that runs inside your browser tab. Nothing is installed on your device, and closing the tab ends the session.

Can I play BoxBash on a school Chromebook?

BoxBash runs on any device with a modern browser, including low-powered school Chromebooks, because it loads in the browser rather than installing. Whether it opens depends on your network - some schools block the game host, which is outside our control.
