About HueHearts

Arrow keys slide hearts around the board and matching colours is the goal, but the hearts move until something stops them rather than one square at a time. That single rule turns simple colour matching into a problem about walls and blockers: a heart sent left travels to the far edge unless another piece is in the way, so setting up a match usually means positioning an obstacle first. Levels are compact and solvable in a handful of moves once the sliding behaviour clicks.

HueHearts FAQ

Why does my heart slide past where I wanted it?

Because pieces move until they hit an obstacle rather than stopping after one square. Getting a heart to a specific spot means putting something in its path first, which is the puzzle rather than a quirk of the controls.

How do you play HueHearts?

Use the arrow keys to slide the hearts. Remember that a heart travels until it hits something. Position one heart as a blocker to stop another where you need it. Plan the order of moves rather than nudging pieces individually.

Is HueHearts free to play?

Yes. HueHearts is free to play in your browser on BreakArcade. There is no purchase, no subscription and no account required - open the page and press Play.

Do I need to download HueHearts?

No. HueHearts is an HTML5 game that runs inside your browser tab. Nothing is installed on your device, and closing the tab ends the session.

Can I play HueHearts on a school Chromebook?

HueHearts runs on any device with a modern browser, including low-powered school Chromebooks, because it loads in the browser rather than installing. Whether it opens depends on your network - some schools block the game host, which is outside our control.
