Lion Prince
About Lion Prince
Torch-lit corridors of stone form the maze in Lion Prince, and the small armoured lion you control has a sword, no map, and bats that come out of the dark. Progress means learning each level's layout: which passages loop back, which dead ends hide a switch, and which monsters are worth fighting rather than running past. Traps are placed to punish the fastest-looking route, so the maze itself does as much damage as the enemies in it. Secret passages open up shortcuts once found, which makes a second run through a familiar level feel genuinely different.
How to Play
- Explore the maze corridors, mapping the routes that loop back on themselves.
- Fight the monsters blocking your path with your sword, or slip past the ones you cannot beat yet.
- Watch for traps built into the floor and walls — the direct route is usually the dangerous one.
- Find the secret passages hidden in each level to open shortcuts towards the exit.
Lion Prince FAQ
Do you have to defeat every monster in Lion Prince?
No. The goal is escaping the maze, and some enemies are better avoided than fought — particularly early on, when the route you have found matters more than clearing the corridor you found it in.
