Cloudline Connect
About Cloudline Connect
The actual difficulty in this one isn't finding a path between two matching points, it's finding a path that doesn't force every other pair into an impossible crossing later. Because connecting lines can't cross or overlap anywhere on the board, the order you solve pairs in matters as much as the routes themselves — grabbing the shortest, most obvious connection first often boxes in a pair on the far side of the board that now has no legal path left. Using the full space available, including routing a line around the long way instead of straight across, is frequently the only way to leave room for the pairs you haven't connected yet.
How to Play
- Tap or drag from one colored point to the matching color on another floating pillar to draw a connecting line.
- Route lines around obstacles and other pillars — a path can go the long way if the direct route is blocked.
- Avoid crossing or overlapping any line already drawn; the puzzle won't let two paths intersect.
- Connect every colored pair on the board to complete the level, planning the trickier pairs before the easy ones if space is tight.
Cloudline Connect FAQ
Why does the game block a path even though there is visibly empty space?
Paths can't cross or touch any other line already drawn, so a route that looks open might actually need to pass directly over a connection made earlier. Undoing an early, obvious connection and rerouting it out of the way often frees up the space a later pair needs.
Does it matter which pair gets connected first?
It usually does, since an early connection can wall off part of the board for whichever pair still needs to reach that area. Solving the pairs that sit in tight corners or between other pillars before the wide-open ones tends to leave more usable space for what's left.
