Word: Online Hunt gives you a themed list on the side — car brands, animals, whatever the level is built around — and a letter grid where every one of those words is hidden forward, backward, or diagonally. Drag across the letters to trace a word once you spot it; the game only confirms a match if you've selected the exact run of letters, so a word you can see but trace slightly wrong won't register. Short common words tend to hide inside longer ones, which means the four-letter word you're hunting for might already be sitting inside a six-letter word you traced past twice. There's no timer forcing you through it, so the pace is entirely how carefully you scan rows versus columns versus diagonals.

Why does the game reject a word I can clearly see in the grid?
Selection only registers if you trace the exact run of letters in order, start to end. If you spot the word reading one direction but start dragging from the wrong end, or skip a letter in the middle, the game won't count it as found.
Why do I keep missing short words that are supposedly on the list?
Short words frequently sit hidden inside longer ones on the same row or diagonal, so your eyes catch the longer word and skip past the shorter one sitting inside it. Scanning the same line twice at different lengths usually turns up the one you missed.
