Throwing while moving is what this asks for, with the arrows handling position and space launching the delivery. Because the throw travels on an arc rather than in a straight line, standing directly beside a recipient is usually wrong and the successful throw is released a step or two early. Jumping is in the mix as well, which means some deliveries have to be made at the top of an arc while airborne. It is a small idea executed cleanly, and the arc timing carries it further than the premise suggests.

Standing level with the target is too late. The arc carries the item forward as it rises and falls, so a throw released a step or two before you draw alongside is the one that lands, and that offset stays roughly constant throughout.
