About Color Block Out!
Every block on the board wants out, and it can only leave through a gate of its own colour. Blocks slide along one axis, they never turn, and anything parked in the lane between a block and its exit has to move first — which is where the puzzle actually lives. Boards are small enough to read at a glance and still take several attempts, because the piece you want to move last is usually the one that has to move first. Nothing is timed, so a wrong slide costs you only the moment it takes to realise it.
How to Play
- Drag a block along its lane toward the gate that matches its colour.
- Blocks cannot rotate, so a block only ever exits through the side it faces.
- Clear the blocks blocking a lane before trying to move the piece behind them.
- Get every block out through its matching gate to finish the level.
Color Block Out! FAQ
Why will my block not go through a gate right next to it?
Gates only accept their own colour, and blocks only travel along their lane — a red block beside a blue gate is simply at the wrong exit. What looks like the block refusing to move is usually the board telling you its real gate is on the other side, behind something you have not cleared yet.
Which block should move first when several are boxed in together?
Trace each block's lane to its gate and find the one whose path is already clear — there is almost always exactly one, and moving it unlocks a lane for the next. Starting from the block you most want to free tends to fail, because its lane is the one everything else is parked across.
