About FireBoom

Chain reactions start from one point and everything after that is out of your hands. A single firework is set off wherever you choose, and it ignites others nearby, which ignite others in turn, so a level is cleared or failed based entirely on the first placement. Scattered rockets mean the chain dies early; a dense cluster means it propagates. Reading which cluster connects to the most neighbours is the only skill involved, and later levels space the fireworks so that the obvious cluster is the wrong one.

FireBoom FAQ

Can I set off more than one chain?

The level turns on that single starting choice, so everything depends on picking a firework whose neighbours will carry the reaction onward. The largest visible cluster is often a dead end that fails to reach the rest of the board.

How do you play FireBoom?

Pick the point where the chain should begin. Set it off and watch the reaction spread. Choose a firework that sits near several others. Look for the cluster that connects onward, not just the biggest one.

Is FireBoom free to play?

Yes. FireBoom is free to play in your browser on BreakArcade. There is no purchase, no subscription and no account required - open the page and press Play.

Do I need to download FireBoom?

No. FireBoom is an HTML5 game that runs inside your browser tab. Nothing is installed on your device, and closing the tab ends the session.

Can I play FireBoom on a school Chromebook?

FireBoom runs on any device with a modern browser, including low-powered school Chromebooks, because it loads in the browser rather than installing. Whether it opens depends on your network - some schools block the game host, which is outside our control.
