BearShift
About BearShift
Blocks pen the polar bear in on every side, and BearShift is the business of shoving them around until a route to the gate opens. Wooden crates and ice slabs behave differently — ice keeps sliding once pushed, wood stops where you leave it — so the same arrangement can be solved or ruined depending on which you move first. Arrows marked on the snow show the directions a block will travel. Boards are small and the rules are few, which puts all the difficulty in seeing the order of moves rather than in learning what anything does.
How to Play
- Push the blocks around the board to clear a path for the bear.
- Note which blocks slide and which stay put — ice keeps going once it is moving.
- Follow the arrow markings to work out where a block will end up before committing.
- Open a route to the glowing gate to free the bear and finish the level.
BearShift FAQ
What is the difference between the wooden and ice blocks in BearShift?
Wooden crates stop as soon as you stop pushing; ice slabs keep sliding until something blocks them. Solving a board usually means using an ice slab to reach somewhere you cannot push a crate to.
