About Tangled Climber Escape

Every rope in Tangled Climber Escape connects two anchor points, and a level only counts as solved once none of those ropes cross each other - which means dragging one climber to a new slot can just as easily create a new crossing as remove one. The Cut Rope power-up deletes a single connection outright when a layout has no clean rearrangement left, and Freeze Time buys extra seconds on levels with a countdown attached. Early boards solve in two or three moves; later ones need real planning about which climber to move first, since moving the wrong one locks the rest into a tangle that costs more moves to fix than it would have taken to avoid in the first place.

Tangled Climber Escape FAQ

Why did moving one climber add a new rope crossing instead of removing one?

Every rope has two ends, so relocating one climber changes where that rope runs but doesn't remove the crossing on its own - it just shifts the problem to another part of the board unless the other end also moves.

When should I use Cut Rope instead of just rearranging climbers?

Save it for boards where every remaining slot still produces at least one crossing no matter the order you try, since Cut Rope solves in one move what could otherwise take several failed rearrangements to work around.

How do you play Tangled Climber Escape?

Drag a climber to an open anchor slot to change how its rope is routed. Keep rearranging climbers until no ropes cross each other anywhere on the board. Use the Cut Rope power-up to remove one stubborn connection when nothing else works. Use Freeze Time to buy extra seconds on levels that run against a countdown.
