About Tapping on Fruit
A nine-by-nine grid packed with fruit, and a single tap clears every matching fruit connected to the one you touched. Two or more is the minimum for a scoring move, and the points scale with how many go at once as well as with the level you are on, so the difference between a level cleared and a level failed is usually whether you found the large connected clusters before breaking them apart. Normal mode only counts fruit joined vertically and horizontally. Hammer mode also counts diagonals, which links groups that would be separate otherwise and changes the whole board read.
How to Play
- Tap any fruit that touches at least one other fruit of the same colour to clear the group.
- Hunt for the largest connected cluster first, since points scale with the number removed in one move.
- Reach the target score shown for the level before you run out of viable moves.
- Switch to Hammer mode when you want diagonal connections counted as well as straight ones.
