About Gems Sort Puzzle
Every tube in Gems Sort Puzzle starts packed with a mess of colored gems stacked in the wrong order, and your only tool is pouring one tube's top gem onto another. You can only pour onto a tube if the color on top matches, or onto one that's completely empty, which means the empty tubes are the scarcest resource in the whole puzzle. Plan a pour in the wrong order and you can lock a color underneath others with nowhere left to send it. The game runs in portrait orientation, built for a phone or tablet held upright, though it works fine with a mouse on a laptop too. Later boards add more tubes and more colors at once, so the early puzzles are really just teaching the rule before it gets genuinely tight.

Why won't a gem pour into a tube that still has other colors in it?
A pour only works if the receiving tube is either empty or its topmost gem already matches the color you're moving. Any other combination is blocked, which is what makes empty tubes so valuable, since they're the only place you can stash a color with no direct match.
I emptied my last spare tube and now I feel stuck, did I lose?
Not automatically, but you've removed your only flexible move. Look for a pour that consolidates a color you can already complete, since finishing and clearing one tube gives you a fresh empty one to work with again.
