About Tidydeck: Sort Puzzle

Tidydeck lays out a messy field of cards and asks you to walk each one home to the deck that matches its category, but the catch is the shelf: it only holds a handful of cards you're not ready to place, and once it fills up you're stuck moving nothing until you free a slot. Good runs come from reading two or three moves ahead, noticing which category is about to run out of open cards before you park something that blocks it. Late levels add categories that look nearly identical at a glance, so a rushed drag can send a card to the wrong deck and cost you a shelf slot fixing the mistake. Levels are short enough that a bad clear just means starting the same layout again.

Tidydeck: Sort Puzzle FAQ

Why did I get stuck with cards I could not place anywhere?

The shelf only holds a limited number of parked cards, and once every slot is full you cannot set anything else aside. A level stalls when the categories still in play do not have an open deck for whatever is left on the shelf, so the fix is unloading the shelf earlier rather than waiting for a clean match.

Does the order I clear categories in actually matter?

Yes. Clearing the deck for a rare category too early leaves later cards from that same category with nowhere to go but the shelf, so it usually pays to clear whichever category has the fewest cards remaining first instead of whichever deck happens to be closest to full.

How do you play Tidydeck: Sort Puzzle?
