Nibblix keeps its input list to one line: click the jump button when you need to jump, and that's the entire control scheme for the whole run. The challenge is entirely in timing rather than execution, since there's nothing to aim or aim around, just a rhythm of obstacles that speeds up the longer a run goes, until the gap between a safe jump and a clipped one gets uncomfortably small. The attack tag shows up as occasional hazards that can't be jumped over cleanly and have to be timed around instead, which breaks up what would otherwise be a pure reflex loop. Runs are short enough that a bad one barely costs any time, so the natural rhythm is several attempts back to back rather than one long sitting.

Why do the attack hazards feel different from the regular jump timing?
Attack hazards cannot be cleared with a normal jump the way ordinary obstacles can. They need the jump timed to their specific animation window, which runs on a different rhythm than the standard obstacle spacing, so treating every hazard the same way is what causes mistakes late in a run once the speed picks up.
