Mech Core: Survivor
About Mech Core: Survivor
Auto-fire is on by default, so the mouse is for pointing rather than clicking, and your attention goes to where the mech is standing instead of to your trigger finger. Enemies arrive in growing numbers in an arena that gives you room to circle, and circling is the correct answer to almost everything. Mechs move slowly enough that backing out of a bad position takes planning, which is the main thing separating this from a twitch shooter. Widescreen framing helps, since seeing what is coming from the flanks is what keeps runs alive.
How to Play
- Move the mech with WASD or the arrow keys.
- Aim with the mouse and let auto-fire handle shooting.
- Circle the arena rather than holding a corner.
- Start backing out of a bad position early, since the mech turns slowly.

Do I still need to click to shoot?
