Duelers
About Duelers
A princess has been carried off and the only equipment you start with is a sword, so the kingdom between you and her is crossed one fight at a time. Enemies are varied enough that charging everything is a losing habit — some are worth engaging for the reward, others are better avoided while you build up gear. Rewards from won duels go into upgrades, and those upgrades decide which of the tougher opponents further along become survivable. Obstacles between fights break up the pace, and the run keeps its focus on choosing battles rather than grinding every encounter on the map.
How to Play
- Move through the kingdom and engage enemies with your sword one duel at a time.
- Pick fights you can win first — earnings from easy foes pay for the upgrades tougher ones require.
- Work around the obstacles between encounters instead of forcing a route through them.
- Keep upgrading between duels so the later captors are not fought with starting equipment.
Duelers FAQ
Is there a penalty for avoiding enemies?
Only an indirect one. Skipped fights mean fewer rewards to spend, so avoiding too much leaves you underequipped for the encounters that cannot be walked past.
