About Boat Viking War

Two longships face each other across open water, a health bar over each and a wind gauge between them that decides how far a shot drifts before it lands. Power and angle are yours to set; the wind is not, and it shifts between turns, so the shot that landed perfectly last round falls short or sails long on the next. The opponent adjusts after every miss exactly as you do. Matches come down to who reads the gauge more accurately as the bars shrink, and exchanges are quick enough that a losing position can turn around on two good shots.

Boat Viking War FAQ

Why does repeating my last shot miss?

Because the wind reading between the two ships changes from turn to turn. An angle and power that were correct a moment ago are only correct for the conditions they were fired in, which is why the gauge deserves more attention than the aiming itself.

How do you play Boat Viking War?

Check the wind gauge before setting up a shot. Set the power and angle, then release to fire. Adjust from your previous shot rather than estimating from scratch. Expect the wind to have changed by the time your next turn comes round.

Is Boat Viking War free to play?
