About Island Merge war

Two stickman armies, red and blue, meet on a small green island with a bonfire at its centre and wooden huts around the edge. Island Merge War runs on merging: identical units combine into a stronger single soldier, and the same applies to the buildings that produce them, so your entire force is something you assemble rather than recruit. Resources gathered on the island fund both. Sending an unmerged crowd across the water is the fastest way to lose an army, while holding back to merge gives the other side time to expand. That tension is the whole game.

Island Merge war FAQ

Is it better to attack early or merge first in Island Merge War?

Merging wins fights but costs time, and the opposing side expands while you do it. The practical answer is to merge just enough to beat what they currently field, rather than waiting for a perfect army.

How do you play Island Merge war?

Collect resources from around the island to fund production. Merge identical units and structures together to create stronger versions of each. Build up your base and defences before committing to an attack across the water. Lead your merged army against the enemy side to take their territory.

Is Island Merge war free to play?

Do I need to download Island Merge war?

Can I play Island Merge war on a school Chromebook?
