About Battle Wheels

Two cars, one keyboard, and physics that treat balance as your problem rather than the game's. Half of any match is spent simply keeping your own vehicle upright, which means attacking your opponent usually costs you more stability than it costs them. The players who win are the ones who wait for the other car to overcommit on a slope. It is deliberately clumsy, the crashes are the point, and rounds end fast enough that the clumsiness never stops being funny.

How to Play

Battle Wheels FAQ

How do you play Battle Wheels?

Player 1 drives with WASD, Player 2 with the arrow keys. Balance matters as much as speed - too much throttle flips you. Let your opponent overcommit on a slope rather than forcing a hit. Flip or strand the other car to win the round.

Is Battle Wheels free to play?

Yes. Battle Wheels is free to play in your browser on BreakArcade. There is no purchase, no subscription and no account required - open the page and press Play.

Do I need to download Battle Wheels?

No. Battle Wheels is an HTML5 game that runs inside your browser tab. Nothing is installed on your device, and closing the tab ends the session.

Can I play Battle Wheels on a school Chromebook?

Battle Wheels runs on any device with a modern browser, including low-powered school Chromebooks, because it loads in the browser rather than installing. Whether it opens depends on your network - some schools block the game host, which is outside our control.
