About Win Magic and Devil

Five keys are all this needs — WASD to move, space to shoot — but the wizard theme changes what shoot actually means. Win Magic and Devil has you flinging fire spells instead of bullets, which in practice means a slower projectile and more lead time needed to hit anything that's actually moving rather than standing still. Movement stays free in all four directions the entire time, so there's no cover system or fixed lane forcing your positioning; survival comes down to circling threats while lining up the next cast. Space doesn't show a cooldown timer anywhere on screen, so the real fire rate limit, if one exists, has to be learned by feel rather than read off a UI bar.

Win Magic and Devil FAQ

Why do my fire spells keep missing enemies that are clearly right in front of me?

The fire projectile travels at a visible speed rather than hitting instantly, so shooting straight at where an enemy currently stands misses anything that's still moving. You need to aim slightly ahead of its path instead, the same way you'd lead a target in any projectile-based shooter.

Is there a cooldown on the space bar, or can I just hold it down?

There's no cooldown timer shown on screen, so the practical firing pace comes from how the spell animation plays out rather than a UI counter you can watch. Holding it down does keep casting, but tapping with a slight pause tends to line up better with when the previous fireball actually clears the screen.

How do you play Win Magic and Devil?

Move freely in any direction with W, A, S, and D. Press space to cast a fire spell toward whatever direction you last moved or aimed. Lead your shots ahead of moving enemies, since the fire projectile isn't instant. Keep circling rather than standing still — there's no cover to duck behind. Watch your position relative to enemies closely, since taking a hit ends a run fast in this kind of arena shooter.
