WANTED
About WANTED
Picking up three strangers for a cross-town fare turns bad the moment you learn they just emptied a bank vault, and from that second the whole police force treats your car as the target. The screen sits directly above the street, so you read traffic, barriers and cruisers as shapes sliding past rather than as a windshield view. Ramming a cruiser or flattening a roadblock pushes your wanted rank higher, which pulls more units into the pursuit, and the cash counter in the corner is what you spend in the garage between runs. The starting hatchback is slow enough that early escapes come from steering, not speed.
How to Play
- Drive with the keyboard and use the mouse for the garage and shop buttons along the bottom of the screen.
- Weave between civilian traffic and grab the cash drops the robbery leaves scattered on the road.
- Watch the rank readout at the top — every collision you cause raises it and adds another police unit behind you.
- Spend what you banked on a heavier vehicle before trying the later worlds, since the hatchback stops surviving contact.
WANTED FAQ
Does crashing into police cars help or hurt in WANTED?
Both. Wrecking a cruiser clears the road in front of you, but it also raises the wanted rank shown at the top of the screen, and a higher rank spawns more pursuers for the rest of that run.
Why does the first car feel so weak?
The run starts you in a beat-up hatchback on purpose. Cash banked from finished chases unlocks heavier vehicles, up to monster trucks, so early runs are about surviving long enough to afford the next one.
