Stellar Guardian
About Stellar Guardian
Stellar Guardian is a space shooter built around the gap between what your ship can currently survive and what the next horde is bringing. Enemies arrive in formations that thin out under sustained fire, then bosses turn up with enough hull to make your current loadout look inadequate — which is the cue to spend on abilities. Several modes vary the pressure, some leaning on endurance and others on how efficiently you clear a screen. Controls stay deliberately simple so that the decisions worth making are about upgrades and positioning rather than button combinations.
How to Play
- Fly your ship around the playfield and keep firing into the incoming formations.
- Read enemy movement patterns — hordes arrive in shapes, and sitting in the wrong lane is what gets you hit.
- Upgrade your ship with new abilities between engagements to keep pace with the difficulty.
- Take on the bosses once your loadout can absorb their attack patterns, and try the alternate modes for a different kind of run.
Stellar Guardian FAQ
What separates the bosses from the regular enemies in Stellar Guardian?
Scale and staying power. Ordinary hordes fall to sustained fire, while a boss has enough hull to outlast an un-upgraded ship, so meeting one is effectively a check on whether you have spent your upgrades well.
