DungeonsQuest
About DungeonsQuest
Monsters arrive in waves and never really stop, so a run here is measured in how long your build holds together. You control a wizard moving through a dungeon in three dimensions, and attacking is automatic — your input is positioning, which decides what gets hit and what gets to reach you. Killing things drops experience gems, gems trigger a level-up, and each level-up offers a choice of upgrade. Since the offers differ every time, the abilities and weapons you end up combining are different from run to run. Elite monsters and mini-bosses show up as the waves thicken, and a single final boss closes things out.
How to Play
- Move with WASD — your position is what controls which enemies you hit and which ones close in on you.
- Walk over the XP gems dropped by dead monsters to fill the level bar.
- Pick an upgrade at every level-up, and think about what your current abilities already do before choosing.
- Use the mouse to navigate the upgrade menus, and Escape to pause between waves.
- Keep moving once elites and mini-bosses appear; standing still is what lets a wave surround you.
DungeonsQuest FAQ
Do I attack manually?
No, attacks fire on their own. That is what makes positioning the real skill — you are steering your damage by deciding where to stand relative to the wave, rather than aiming individual shots at individual monsters.
Is my build the same every run?
No. The upgrades on offer at each level-up vary, so the combination of magical abilities and weapons you finish with is different each time. Two runs that both reach the final boss can get there with completely different loadouts.
