Traffic thickens the further you get, and since the track never ends, the only real failure state is a collision — which turns the game into a continuous reading exercise, spotting the gap two lanes ahead before the car you are passing closes it. The retro presentation keeps everything legible at speed, with vehicles as simple coloured blocks against the asphalt. Multiplayer puts a friend on the same stretch of highway, where the extra car is one more obstacle rather than a rival you can block.
