Archers.io
About Archers.io
Everyone on the map is aiming at everyone else, and there's no lobby wait to get into it - you're dropped in and shooting within seconds. Movement steers your archer while arrows fire automatically at whoever's closest in range, so positioning matters more than aim: standing in the open against three approaching players is a fast way to die, while fighting from a corner where only one enemy can reach you at a time is how most rounds are actually won. Coins picked up from kills and pickups go toward upgrades between fights, and the gap between an upgraded archer and a fresh one is noticeable enough that farming a few easy kills early pays off later in the match.
How to Play
- Move your archer around the map with WASD, the arrow keys, or a virtual joystick on mobile
- Arrows fire automatically at the nearest enemy in range - focus on positioning, not aiming
- Collect coins from kills and pickups to buy upgrades between fights
- Fight from corners or chokepoints where enemies can only approach from one direction at a time
Archers.io FAQ
Why do I keep dying without ever seeing who shot me?
Arrows fire automatically at the nearest target in range, including from players outside your current view of the screen. Standing in open ground exposes you to archers approaching from angles you cannot see coming, which is why fighting from a corner limits how many directions damage can arrive from.
Is it worth chasing easy kills early even if it means avoiding stronger players?
Yes - the upgrade gap between a fresh archer and one with a few purchases is large enough to decide fights on its own. Picking off weaker or distracted players early for coins before engaging anyone dangerous usually leads to a stronger position later in the round.
