About Athlio
Athlio borrows the stack-and-merge formula and swaps the fruit for footballs, hockey pucks, and other sport gear that launches upward into a shared pile. Each new item drops from the same spot, and the only decision is timing — send it toward a cluster of matching items to merge them into the next size up, or misjudge the arc and watch it settle in the wrong spot, crowding the field for the next launch. The pile only has so much vertical room, and a few careless drops near the top end a run fast. It plays slower than most clicker sports games, closer to a physics puzzle than a reflex test.
How to Play
- Click or tap to launch the current sport-item upward into the play area.
- Aim toward items of the same type — two matching items merge into a bigger one.
- Leave room near the edges early on so later drops have somewhere safe to land.
- Watch the fill line at the top of the field; reaching it ends the run.

Why did two items that looked identical fail to merge?
Only items of the exact same tier merge — a football and a hockey puck can look similar in size on screen but belong to different item chains, so matching by shape alone instead of checking the icon leads to a lot of missed merges.
